The South East GP Training Scheme offers early exposure to general practice, with first-year trainees participating in short GP attachments and second-year trainees completing a longer GP practice rotation. In the third year, trainees have the chance to do an overseas rotation in Malawi. The scheme emphasises a welcoming environment and social interaction among trainee groups, and provides opportunities for specialty clinical attachments in areas like Dermatology, Ophthalmology, ENT, MSK/Orthopaedics, and Palliative Medicine.
