Today, we introduce the latest issue of FORUM, which comes with exciting changes. Forum has not only been redesigned with a new layout but also now features a digital flipbook, making it more accessible and easier to engage with online. Front cover of FORUM February 2026 Issue

The launch marks the College’s collaboration with IFP Media, whose CEO, Rebecca Markey, says they look forward to this partnership, noting, “IFP Media is delighted to partner with the Irish College of GPs on the continued publication of FORUM. We are committed to maintaining the high standards and editorial excellence that have long defined the journal, ensuring it remains an essential resource for Ireland’s general practice community.”

Reflecting on the importance of FORUM to members, Dr Deirdre Collins, Chair of the College’s Board, notes, "In the recent College membership survey, FORUM was cited as a valuable source of College and clinical information, and we intend to ensure that a high-quality, informative publication continues to be produced for our members".

This issue of FORUM features a variety of articles and topics we hope members find valuable and informative. In the coming months, you’ll notice more College-inspired content under the guidance of the College editorial advisory committee.
In the flipbook version, you can easily navigate the various articles by clicking their titles in the table of contents.
