Payment Methods

Direct Debit: Mandates can be downloaded below. Completed mandates should be returned via email to membership@icgp.ie. Please note that there is no additional charge for using direct debit.

Online: To pay online, please login on the top right of this page. On the My Dashboard page, click on the 'Membership Fees' link (on the left side of the page) and follow the instructions.

Cheque: Post cheques to Irish College of GPs, 15 Hogan Place, Dublin 2, D02 DK23.

Annual Subscription

A list of the different categories of subscription to the College is available below. If you wish to apply for a reduced subscription category, please Contact Us. Changes in subscription categories will only apply to the current year.

The full membership subscription fee is €1,072.00. The annual subscription to the College has not increased in 2024 and has remained static since 2013.

Receipts: Receipts for the current year and two previous years are now available online. Visit 'My Dashboard' to view your receipts.

Full time (20 or more hours in clinical general practice and/or involved in general practice teaching/training) €1072
Part time (less than 20 hours in clinical general practice per week, and not engaged in the teaching or training of general practice please) €536
Member not engaged in clinical general practice or teaching/training of general practice but engaged in other medical specialities €305
Full time resident outside of the Republic of Ireland  €107.20
Not currently engaged in active clinical general practice or teaching/training of general practice (maternity leave, retired etc) €268
New member (in year of graduation) €0
First full subscription year after graduation (Jan-Dec) €268
Second full year subscription year after graduation (Jan-Dec) €536
GP Trainee €0
Long-term members (at least ten years) aged 73 years and older in the current year and meet the following criteria:    
  • fully retired from active clinical general practice
  • not holding a GMS contract
  • not registered under the professional competence scheme at any time during the calendar year

Voting rights will be as per associate members.
