This event aligns with the increased intake of trainees to 350 in July 2024 and precedes a second workshop planned for the upcoming months. Additionally, the National Trainers Conference attracted 302 trainers for a comprehensive two-day program, including art workshops and a keynote on AI, concluding with enthusiasm for future gatherings.

The Irish College of GPs is accepting entries for the 2026 Quality & Safety in Practice (QSiP) Awards, which recognise GPs' initiatives that improve patient care and practice operations in Ireland. Sponsored by Medisec, projects can focus on various areas, including management and clinical practice. GPs must submit their entries by Friday, 20 March 2026.
