FORUM publisher changes with the addition of a new flipbook digital version

The College extends its best wishes to MedMedia on their departure from journal publishing. We have enjoyed a 34-year relationship with the company and shared many of the milestones of the College and general practice more broadly along the way. We wish Geraldine Meagan and John Gibbons well as they continue the creative agency aspect of their business.

FORUM will continue with a new look and the addition of a new flipbook digital version as the College partners with IFP Media, who will now take on many of MedMedia’s past employees, ensuring consistency as we transition.

Rebecca Markey, Chief Executive of IFP Media, looks forward to this partnership, noting, “IFP Media is delighted to partner with the Irish College of GPs on the continued publication of Forum. We are committed to maintaining the high standards and editorial excellence that have long defined the journal, ensuring it remains an essential resource for Ireland’s general practice community.”

The partnership will see the College being more involved in the publication with the addition of a College editorial Board, which will enhance the College’s Communications and Advocacy Strategy.

Dr Deirdre Collins, Chair of the College’s Board, notes, "In the recent College membership survey, Forum was cited as a valuable source of College and clinical information, and we intend to ensure that a high-quality, informative publication continues to be produced for our members".
